Recognition and Readiness: LEAD-PRO for Policy and Practice

As LEAD-PRO gains recognition across Europe, the project is entering its next stage — one marked by both external validation and internal progress. From engaging directly with EU policy-makers at the CERISE Projects-to-Policy Seminar to being nominated among Europe’s top digital innovations at EDSA 2025, the momentum is building. These milestones showLEAD-PRO’s relevance not only as a technological solution but also as a contributor to shaping the future of law enforcement and disaster resilience across the EU.

LEAD-PRO at the CERISE Projects to Policy Seminar in Brussels

In June 2025, LEAD-PRO was featured during the CERISE Projects to Policy Seminar in Brussels, organised by the European Commission to connect research and innovation projects with policy development initiatives.

Key outcomes from our participation:

  • Policy relevance: LEAD-PRO’s predictive and operational tools align with emerging EU priorities in disaster resilience, AI governance, and cross-border collaboration.

  • Ethics and data compliance: The project was recognised for integrating ethics into its lifecycle, from design to deployment, a critical feature for future EU-wide adoption.

  • Future policymaking input: Insights from the seminar will help shape forthcoming guidance on interoperable systems for law enforcement and crisis management.

This opportunity reinforces LEAD-PRO’s potential to inform European digital transformation at both strategic and operational levels.
